Mr. Terry “TP” Price was born July 6, 1945 in Trion, Georgia to the late Thelma Long Price-Harris and William Rounsaville. He was preceded in death by one sister; Teresa Rounsaville.
Terry attended Main High School in Rome, Georgia and graduated with honors from The Howard High School in Chattanooga, Tennessee class of 1963. He was a member of the Hustlin Tigers Football team. He was awarded the highest academic honors scholarship, and upon graduation he attended Tennessee State University. He was employed many years at Bagby Transfer Company. He retired from a managerial position at Syntec Industry. During his years as supervisor he was a caring mentor for many of his staff members and earned the name “Dad”. “TP” was a man of many talents ad a jack of all trades he was known as “Mr. Fix It”.
He leaves cherished memories to his wife of 30 years, Jacqueline Price, children; Nicelle (Derek) Price-Gary, Kimberly (William) Spears, Terrica Price all of Chattanooga, TN, Nicholas Price of Covington, GA, Edwin (Mark) Roberts, Karen Byars and Rodney Cammon all of Rome, GA., eighteen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, uncles; Charles Vaughn of Summerville, GA., Lorenzo Rounsaville of Norfolk, VA., aunt; Climmie Long- Mason of Cleveland, OH., cousin; Sandra (Amizah) Boddie, a host of nieces nephews cousins and friends also survive.
Home going celebration will be held on Monday November 19, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Greater Christ Temple Holiness Church, Bishop N. Guthrie pastor, Bishop Bobby Grier will deliver the Eulogy, interment will then follow at the Morning View Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 6-7 P.M. at Wright Memorial Mortuary at other hours they may be contacted at the residence 301 Northwood Dr. Rome, GA. Wright Memorial Mortuary Inc. has charge of arrangements for Mr. Terry “TP” Price.
